This weekend, I did a little plant shopping! I am so excited to share with you what I bought from Home Depot. You should first know that this is the first time I bought my own plants. I don’t know much of about keeping plants in the house, but definitely had to do some research! I grew up watching my mom take care of lots of indoor plants in our home and frequently had me water them along with her, once as week.
Now, I have my set of plants to take care of. Here are some of the ones I purchased from the Home Depot Nursery!
Before I go ahead, I should tell you that I have never set up my own plants. I am SOOOO glad that I have someone around who knows more about planting than I do!!! 😉
These little babies are purchased from Stop and Shop. I was surprise they had some fair collection of choices. I later was able to buy some clay pots and soil to replant them to fit the apartment :).
The Plant on the left is baby Croton Mammey. The plant on the right is Dwarf Schefflera…I believe.
This Rubber Plant is definitely my favorite! I love how the dark tone of the leaves look in this lighting. Its very sophisticated and simple.
Here is tall the Rubber Plant currently is. Right now, it’s placed in the color of the living room.
The Yucca Cane Plant is surprisingly beautiful and goes very well in the corner of the living room.
I have to say, my boyfriend who helped me put this together, is a better gardener than I am! He even picked out these succulents and created this display for the dining table. I can’t stop looking at the table now, because this set is just beautiful and adorable!
I am still trying to figure out what the names of these succulents are….
Thanks babe!!! 😀
